How I built and scaled Gowrk to 6,000 users in six months.
Gowrk is a two-sided job marketplace I founded, connecting blue- and grey-collar workers with employers across India.
Problem
My cousin lost his job in COVID and couldn't use LinkedIn. 300M+ workers, no real hiring platform.
Research
2,100 interviews with blue- and grey-collar workers. 18 company visits for firsthand pain.
Users
Trade-school grads and daily-wage workers, 18–50. Mobile-first — 750M smartphone users in India.

India's manufacturing boom + relentless churn. High churn means recurring revenue.
Ship
Launched at month 4, after research and build. The same 18 companies became first customers — 20+ postings in week one.
